The Smart Directories in SAM are used as an address book whereby end users who have access to it can contact people in the list as their contact details are shared with the connected people. The information included are phone numbers and emails, however before sharing these details there is a consent process to complete. The end user must read and accept the terms and conditions set to have access to the directory if it has been configured.
To configure a Smart Directory complete the below instructions:
You can configure the Directory Order in one of two ways - 'First Name + Last Name' or 'Last Name + First Name'.
There are 4 different Consent Types to choose from as per the below:
Each of the above can be enforced to be agreed to before access is granted to the Smart Directory by End Users utilising the check-box.
